The audition will take place by personal invitation at the Royal Opera's Studios, Elektronvägen 30, 141 49 Huddinge on April 23-24, 2026.

The Royal Court Orchestra is celebrating 500 years this year 2026! For 500 years, the Royal Court Orchestra has played a central role in Swedish musical life; since 1526 as the royal family's orchestra and since 1773 also as the orchestra of the Royal Opera. Today, the orchestra consists of 105 musicians. As a member of the Royal Court Orchestra, you will be part of a unique, living orchestral tradition and work in one of the world's most beautiful workplaces.
